Dawn Leone was born and raised in Indiana, PA. She studied Pharmacy and Business Administration at Duquesne University, graduating in 1988. She studied under Dr. Sharon Pushko at the Geriatric Massage Institute and other massage and physical therapy authorities around the nation.
In 1997, Dawn opened L’Therapy Massage and quickly became one of the tri-state area’s most sought massage therapists. In 2002, she became the only massage therapist to work on the entire NASCAR circuit and was featured on the national television show, NASCAR Today. She has won many accolades, including Massage Magazine’s “More Than a Therapist” award.
L’Therapy has evolved over the years; going from a small massage therapy practice to one of the nation’s largest. Unfortunately, Dawn suffered serious injuries in 2005, as a pedestrian hit by a reckless driver. Consequently, she handed over the reins to her practice. The new company is L’Therapy Group LLC, a limited liability company concentrating in supplying massage therapists to hospitals, chiropractors, physical therapy offices, fitness centers, beauty salons and spas.
